Jaeger-LeCoultre is the watchmaker’s watchmaker, and Dublin collectors who already own a Reverso still come upstairs for a Memovox or a Uniplan they can handle before they pay. Quartz Reversos exist; we label them as such.

A Reverso is a different object in the hand than it is in a photograph. You need to feel the weight, flip the case, and see whether the black dial you liked on a screen is the one you want in daylight on William Street South.
Memovox and Uniplan turn up less often. When they do, they sit on this tray until someone who knows the alarm or the rectangular case comes in and asks the right questions.

We would rather sell you a JLC we can stand over than one we cannot talk through honestly. Ask about the piece before you buy.
If the piece is quartz, that is on the ticket. A lot of later Reversos are. It is still a proper watch. It is not the same conversation as a manual-wind calibre from the 1950s.

Yes. A Reverso is a different object in the hand than it is in a photograph. Come up to the second floor of Powerscourt and flip the case. Call 01 679 9107 if you want a Memovox or Uniplan specifically; those turn up less often.
Many are, and that is on the ticket. It is still a proper watch. It is not the same conversation as a manual-wind calibre from the 1950s. We will not let you leave thinking otherwise.
