These terms cover your use of watchempire.ie. By browsing the site or sending us an enquiry, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

The watches shown on this site

• Every piece we list is an individual watch, not a stock line. When it sells, it is gone — there is no second one behind it.
• Photographs show the actual watch. We make every effort to represent colour and condition accurately, but screens vary and a photograph is never a substitute for seeing a piece in person.
• Prices are shown in euro and include Irish VAT where it applies. Prices may change at any time, and a price shown on the site is an invitation to enquire rather than a binding offer to sell.
• Where a watch is listed as price on application, we will quote you a current price when you contact us.
• Descriptions of age, service history and originality are given in good faith. For vintage pieces without accompanying paperwork, age is an estimate — see the paperwork section of ourdelivery and returns terms.

Enquiries and quotations

Submitting an enquiry form does not reserve a watch or create a contract. It starts a conversation. A sale is agreed only when we have confirmed availability and price with you directly, by phone, by email or in the shop.

We do not provide valuations.

Buying, delivery and returns

The terms that govern an actual purchase — payment, delivery, customs, warranty, water resistance, bracelet sizing and your right to return or exchange — are set out in full on ourdelivery and returns page. Please read them before you buy.

Repairs and servicing

• Work begins only once you have approved a quotation. If we find further work is needed after opening a watch, we stop and come back to you before going any further.
• Fine mechanical work cannot be rushed and some corrections cannot be completed to a deadline. We will always give you an honest timescale rather than an optimistic one.
• Parts for vintage pieces are not always available. Where a part must be sourced or made, we will tell you what that means for cost and timing before proceeding.
• Watches left with us should be collected within three months of us telling you the work is finished.

Using this website

• The text, photography and design on this site belong to Watch Empire. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written permission.
• You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, or use it in any way that damages it or impairs anyone else's use of it.
• We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors. Availability and pricing in particular can change between a page being published and you reading it.
• Where we link to other websites, we do not control them and are not responsible for their content.

Your data

Our privacy policy explains what we collect when you contact us, how long we keep it and how to have it removed. Our cookie policy covers what this site sets in your browser.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you use the site is the version that applies.
